Alternative Assessments
Assessments in general:
- Are used to gage the effectiveness of a course or training program.
- Identify the newly acquired skills of the learner and to see if there are any gaps in their knowledge.
Examples of alternative assessments:
- portfolios
- essays, projects
- demonstrations
- short answer questions
- oral presentations
