Team collaboration is a key issue in DE when considering the additional factors in communicating, collaborating and completing tasks and projects.

How to develop stronger virtual teams: 

• Practice intentional action—this can be accomplished by compiling an article on how the team will interact and review these practices to determine what will be likely to work.
  
  
• Broaden awareness—encourage collaborating and reflecting on how reactions are perceived. Be mindful of how one’s contributions affect the group.
  
  
• Improve quality of communications—use of good framing skills (the sender describes the context so the reader understands the context of the message). Follow ideas for action with inquiry for group member insights to encourage advocacy and minimize conflict.
