Huang (2002) outlines a list of learning principles in his Toward constructivism for adult learners in online learning environment. They are:
- Interactive learning
- Collaborative learning
- Facilitating learning
- Authentic learning
- Learning Centered Learning
- High Quality Learning
“An eclectic, rather than a single theory-based approach to developing strategies and procedures, is recommended for matching instruction to learning tasks.” (Zemke, Zemke, 1984) The authors support this concept. Using an understanding of multiple theories will allow an instructor to mold the instruction to fit the appropriate classroom situation. |
